Attitude Financial Advisors, is a boutique financial services firm located on Long Island in Woodbury, NY. We are aligned with one of the largest broker-dealers in the country, Cambridge Investment Research, Inc. (Cambridge) an independent privately-controlled broker-dealer.

Operating as an independent financial firm enhances our capacity to provide solutions that are truly in the best interest of our clients, which may not always be the case for advisors affiliated with either an insurance carrier or perhaps a large financial institution. These types of organizations are generally more restrictive in their client offerings and often require the use of proprietary products or other forms of investments to meet firm objectives that may not be consistent with achieving client goals.

Career Opportunities:


This is a great opportunity for the individual whose long-term plan is to become a Financial Planner. The Paraplanner, together with the Senior Financial Planner and Client Services Coordinator, will work together as a strong team, to serve the clients’ needs.

Primary Role  

The role of the Paraplanner is to support the Senior Financial Planner in preparing and maintaining the client file, preparing and implementing recommendations, and reviewing the client’s needs, goals, and objectives.  

Key Responsibilities 

  • Attending client meetings with financial planner and advisors as required
  • Supporting the financial planner in research and analysis to meet client objectives
  • Compiling and analyzing client data and preparing cash flow analysis
  • Establishing internal relationships to help maintain business flow and meet agreed targets
  • Researching suggested solutions to support recommendations
  • Managing the preparation of client financial plans and suitability reports
  • Managing, recording, and monitoring client reviews on behalf of the planner and advisor
  • Promoting the profile of the business within the profession and wider communities
  • On-going professional development to meet personal development needs
  • Ensuring that all business conducted is done in a responsible and compliant manner

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Enrollment towards CFP designation
